Product Introduction
Polyaluminum ferric chloride (PAFC, also known as composite aluminum ferric chloride) appears as a yellowish-brown liquid or as yellowish-brown to reddish-brown granular powder solid. Its product specifications comply with HG/T5359-2018, "Water Treatment Agent Polyaluminum Ferric Chloride". This composite coagulant, formed through the copolymerization of aluminum and iron salts, exhibits strong adsorption capacity, excellent coagulation performance, large flocculation, rapid sedimentation, and good purification efficiency.Iron is a high-valent iron, which forms a multinuclear conjugate after hydrolysis. Liquid products are brown or red-brown transparent bodies, solid products are brown, red-brown powder or crystals. This product is developed on the basis of in-depth research on the hydrolysis and coagulation mechanism of polyaluminum chloride and iron oxide, aluminum salt and iron salt coagulant. The form of iron ions has been significantly improved, and the degree of polymerization has also been greatly improved. This product overcomes the difficulty of water purification at low temperature and low turbidity. Therefore, its water purification effect is significantly better than general water purification products.
Characteristics of polyaluminum ferric chloride:
1. At room temperature, it has stable chemical properties and will not deteriorate after long-term storage. The solid particles are easy to absorb moisture, but do not deteriorate, and are non-toxic and harmless.
2. The hydrolysis speed and hydrolysis process are not affected by temperature, especially when dealing with high turbidity water and low temperature and low turbidity water, the reaction is fast; the alum blooms formed in the water have a large proportion, dense alum blooms, rapid sedimentation, and filterability Good; can improve the utilization rate of equipment, consume less, and lower the cost of water production.
3. Adapt to a wide range of water pH, PH4-14, but the best treatment value range is 6-8.
4. Applicable to the treatment of various drinking water sources and industrial water sources stipulated by the state, and the turbidity can be handled.
5. The effect of removing and decolorizing SS, BOD, COD in water is higher than that of PAC treatment.
6. The efficiency of removing arsenic, iron, manganese and other heavy metals, silicon, fluorine, organic matter and algae in raw water is much higher than that of PAC, which can improve the quality of drinking water.
Product Usage
This product is widely used in the treatment of domestic drinking water, industrial water, domestic water, domestic sewage and industrial sewage. Among them, the purification treatment effect of low temperature and low turbidity water is particularly obvious. Alkaline additives or other coagulation aids can be omitted. The purification treatment of drinking water and various industrial water has an effect that other coagulants can't match. It is suitable for tap water, papermaking, thermal power, chemical, pharmaceutical, mining, food, steel, mineral processing, tanning and other industries.
Usage and dosage
1. The solid product and normal temperature water by 1: 2.5-1: 3 (weight ratio) mixed for about 30 minutes, the drug is completely dissolved, add 30-40 times the water diluted to the required concentration after use (source water turbidity The greater the secondary dilution plus the more water).
2. Source water turbidity in the 100-500mg / L, the dosage for the amount of water per kilowatt of 5-10Kg. It is advisable to make a small test based on the water quality characteristics before use to determine the optimal dosage.
3. The best effect of poly aluminum chloride PH value of 7-9. Water temperature is too low affect the product flocculation effect.
Packaging and storage
1.Using lined with polyethylene film, jacket polypropylene plastic woven bag double packing, 25kg / bag.
2.Stored in a cool dry and ventilated place, the solid shelf life of 12 months.

Working Principle
Polyaluminium ferric chloride is an inorganic composite pulp coagulant with a new structure formed by the composite copolymerization of aluminium salt and iron salt. It can take the advantages of aluminium salt and iron salt to a certain extent, and integrate the advantages of aluminium salt and iron salt flocculants. It is a good substitute for polyaluminium chloride and polyferric, making the initial coagulation time, floc size and sedimentation rate better
than polyaluminium chloride, and the chromaticity of the effluent is better than ferric chloride, so that the efficacy can be better exerted and the raw materials can be reasonably utilized. It is in the form of yellow-brown or
brown-red powder solid, easily soluble in water, with strong adsorption and bridging properties, and the aqueous solution is slightly acidic and easy to deliquesce in the air.

Product Parameters
| Parameter Category | Parameter Name | English Name | Typical Index Range | Unit | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Performance Parameters | Aluminium Oxide (Al₂O₃) Content | Aluminium Oxide Content | 26.0 - 30.0 | % | A core indicator for measuring the effective aluminium component in PAFC; higher content usually means stronger flocculation effect |
| Iron Oxide (Fe₂O₃) Content | Iron Oxide Content | 1.0 - 5.0 | % | Iron is a characteristic component of PAFC, which can enhance the treatment effect of low-temperature and low-turbidity water and improve floc density | |
| Basicity | Basicity | 40.0 - 90.0 | % | A key indicator reflecting the degree of PAFC molecular polymerization; higher basicity leads to stronger adsorption-bridging capacity and a wider applicable pH range | |
| Purity & Impurity Parameters | Water Insoluble Matter Content | Water Insoluble Matter Content | ≤ 0.3 - 1.0 | % | An important indicator for measuring product purity; excessively high water-insoluble matter may cause pipeline blockage and increased effluent residue |
| Arsenic (As) Content | Arsenic Content | ≤ 0.0005 | % | A toxic heavy metal impurity that needs strict control to avoid water pollution | |
| Lead (Pb) Content | Lead Content | ≤ 0.001 | % | A harmful heavy metal; long-term residue endangers the ecological environment and human health, so it must comply with national drinking water treatment standards | |
